Return Power Shift Control - Tote Bag - Grey

Re-purposed and produced TDR™ mythology as part of the Re-Bag Project in 2007 celebrating Progress Packaging’s 10th anniversary back when re-usable totes were an emerging trend in the packaging industry. Some of the other designers involved in the project included SuperMundane, Non-Format, Made Thought, Airside, SEA and Spin etc.

TDR’s design was printed as a limited edition of 250 on 12oz custom dyed grey tote bags printed with white ink.

Some time before The Designers Republic Ltd went Bang! in 2009, Return Power Shift Control was originally, like Atoms Vectors Pixels Ghosts, Call Down The Thunder and (the original) Creative Response Unit, a cover for the undercover, side and non-TDR™ personal projects, as well as being an on/off project in itself about technology freeing us from the need to be free. Hence the logo in its various iterations.

Navigating the legal processes necessary to reboot the business idea attached to The Designers Republic mission in 2009, I and a new ‘we’ worked as Return Power Shift Control Ltd, which seemed fitting given the shit of the previous year.
