Kaliphz - T-Shirt

In 1993, our chum 808-State’s Graham Massey brought bandmate producer Martin Price's MCR Asian hiphop klients the Kaliphz to the 'TDR Band Brand factory’ (not our words, LOL). The idea was to do a ‘PWEI’ on them and we had ideas for a plan to develop a K(aliphz) visual language in the same way we’d done with / for the Poppies. But… everyone wanted their say… so nothing happened... except this beautiful 30 year old tee (one of the first we did with diffusion printing meaning we avoided the plastic chest plate weight of some previous designs!)

(Oh, and one single ‘Rollin’ Wid Da Kleeka' un-designed by a cast of thousands… it could have been a beautiful thing…)
