DR vs The Entire Population of Sweden - Proof Print
From time to time, when the fancy took us, we’d produce one off prints to give away at Ian Anderson’s talks here, there and often everywhere. This one was for a talk coinciding with Stockholm Art Schools graduation ceremony in 1995, designed and printed in 1994.
“I don’t remember much about the talk but I think I mainly spoke about allegorical narrative in Star Trek, Sci-fi and Japanese fonts, and alien-nations and why supporting Sheffield Wednesday equated to understanding rather than knowing. I think I was supposed to give a brief history of The Designers Republic but Jan Strandberg and the students had been so non-stop hospitable for several days (nights) by the evening of the talk, its all a blur now. Somehow we ended up on the town with Towa Tei and Lady Miss Kier after a Deee-Lite gig across the road, like you do, or did.”
Anyway, this is an uncut printer’s proof (either from Evolution or PDF in Sheffield) including original colour bar, printers marks and comments for the original print run (edition 100).
There was a reprint (ed. 100) when we launched The Peoples Bureau for Consumer Information online at the den of the 21st Century.
