DR Sissy™ Iron On (Girl’s Cut) - T-Shirt
DR Sissy™ Iron On (Girl’s Cut) - T-Shirt
Following on from DR Sissy™’s first appearance as Emigre Magazine’s 1994 DR Issue Cover Star as a vectorised DR Deth Toy™, and her subsequent cameo as Warp’s Blech CD surface-to-air-kawaii ‘pin-up’ (alongside not-boyfriend Blech Boy), Psygnosis’s Nicky Westcott’s (now Place) 3D render of ’She-is-cute-she-will-kill-you’ Sissy became the standard version. On the back of Wipeout’s release in 1995, there was demand for a new DR Sissy™ Tee.
We experimented with full-colour prints but weren’t happy with the results, and we didn’t want to reprise the Emigre and Blech versions so we decided to go with iron on transfers of 3D(R) Sissy.
They looked great but weren’t washable so only a limited number of the men’s blue and the girl’s cut white with blue trim were actually made.
This white girl’s cut version is a test and doesn’t have any TDR™ labelling.
We found a box of unused nearly 30 year old Sissy iron on and on and ons in the same box as the tees. We thought about using them for a new run but time’s not been kind and the heat disintegrates them.
So… this is it. Done.
Do not wash.
